While Neighbourhood Heroes leads the charge in sustainable lawn and snow care—with about 90% of our fleet running on clean electric power—our trucks represent one of the last remaining pieces of our gas-powered equipment. Currently, we rely on Chevrolet trucks to get our teams and equipment where they’re needed most. Their proven safety features and dependable performance make them an essential part of our operations, allowing us to maintain the high-quality, responsive service you expect.

Transitioning to an All-Electric Future

Our commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility means we’re already hard at work planning for the future. We are actively researching and preparing to convert our truck fleet to leading electric manufacturers, such as Tesla or BYD. This is part of our ongoing mission to become 100% powered by electric energy—reducing emissions and ensuring a cleaner, quieter neighbourhood for everyone.

Currently, just 10% of our machines and vehicles remain gas-powered—and changing that is a top priority.
