Our Snow Removal Visit Policy

At Neighbourhood Heroes, we’re committed to reliable, timely snow removal for all neighbours across Edmonton. Our “once every 24 hours” guarantee applies to every snow removal package—including those with priority listing—bringing you peace of mind and safe access to your property after every snowfall.

How It Works

Thanks to our automatic dispatch system and advanced weather monitoring, your snow removal begins as soon as a snow event ends. Our goal is to clear snow before it gets a chance to pack down, keeping driveways and walkways safe and accessible for your family. With this streamlined approach, every Neighbour receives the care and quality they expect, no matter which package they’re on.

The 24-Hour Guarantee

We promise that every property will be cleared within 24 hours of the conclusion of each snow event—never more than once per 24-hour period. This policy allows us to serve over a thousand Edmontonians fairly and ensures every neighbour receives:

  • Consistent, high-quality service—upholding our “cleared to concrete” commitment
  • Equitable prioritization for those without Priority Listing meaning you'll never be put on the backburner. 
  • Peace of mind knowing that, during multi-day Alberta storms, service continues every single day—your property will always be clear and accessible

To keep our routes efficient and maintain standards, we simply can’t guarantee more than one visit for any home within a 24-hour window. 

Priority Listings & Emergencies

Even with priority listings, every neighbour is treated with the same promise: once every 24 hours. This approach lets us reach every home with fairness and uphold the quality that defines our service.

In rare situations—such as emergencies or special needs—you’re always welcome to request a second visit within 24 hours. We’ll do our absolute best to help once our primary routes are complete and before our service day ends. While we can’t guarantee a second visit, we aim to be the heroes you can count on whenever possible.

We’re a student-run company, and simultaneosly Edmonton's fastest-growing home service team—it’s our responsibility to balance excellent service and reliable coverage for everyone. Limiting visits to once every 24 hours ensures that we can maintain our standards, look after every neighbour, and continue offering the above-and-beyond experience Neighbourhood Heroes is known for.
